Purchased in 1954 at the TVA auction, this family owned resort is the only resort left on Kentucky Lake owned and operated by the original family.
Bee Spring Lodge was a dream that came to fruition by W.C. and Dorothy Onnybecker. An avid hunter and fisherman, the married couple built a “fish camp” and raised their family. They worked from “sun-up to can’t”, as Bill Onnybecker would say. They built a dock, campground, four motel rooms, two cottages, and a restaurant that served the best breakfast and lunch on Kentucky Lake.
